"When I started the Leah Lopez Atelier, I became aware that many students hungered for a connection, a source to draw from and essentially, an ongoing student/mentor relationship. When that dynamic is present and is coupled with good instruction, art students flourish." - Leah Lopez

A New Workshop:
Painting Flowers, Foliage and Fabric
May 9 - 10
From full lush arrangements down to a single rose, the beauty in flowers has inspired master painters throughout the centuries. During this 2-day workshop, you are invited to walk in their shoes, making flowers your main focus, as Leah Lopez takes you through four elemental techniques that will tie it all together.
Leah will demonstrate an approach to painting flowers that will teach you how to begin with your own thoughtful design, a simple straightforward foundation, and a confident yet delicate application of paint to achieve the characteristics of flowers and craft your work of art.
