Late last November, the Artist John Pototschnik and I had a two-person show at the Roux & Cyr International Fine Art Gallery. My impression of John was an overwhelming sense of a peace and tenderness. Both he and his wife Marcia were a pleasure to visit with. I can see how John has made a difference in people's lives and warmed their hearts through his beautiful artwork and his dedicated sharing through his blog.
John's Blog is educational, informative and inspirational for his readers. I remember reading his artist interviews, over the years. Naturally, you can imagine how honored I was, when John asked to interview me!
I'm not sure what I expected, but the moment I received his instructions I knew this wasn't going to be a simple interview. His attention to detail was impeccable. I felt his composition of questions was so well designed to draw out the artist. Afterward, he told me, "I consider the reader when I do an interview and try to ask questions of depth, that require thoughtful answers."
Here is the interview that followed...
Thank you, John, for the honor of asking, listening and accepting. Three simple words to live by. I've learned so much from you.
